Shaykh Alauddin Siddiqui visits Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada at Jamia Al-Karam

On Tuesday 24 May 2011, Shaykh Alauddin Siddiqui visited Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada at Jamia Al-Karam. Shaykh Alauddin Siddiqui is the Chancellor of Moihuddin Islamic University of Azad Kashmir, Chairman of Noor TV and Founder of the Moihuddin International Girls College of Burnley.

Upon his arrival, Shaykh Alauddin Siddiqui was welcomed by Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada, staff and senior students of Jamia Al-Karam. Shaykh Pirzada then led Shaykh Alauddin Siddiqui on a tour of the Al-Karam Islamic Studies College for Girls which began at Jamia Al-Karam in October 2008 and the first female scholars of Al-Karam will graduate in the summer of this year 2011...

On Sunday 15 May 2011, the United Kingdom Branch of the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates (WAAG) and the Al-Azhar Contact Office in Great Britain was inaugurated at Jamia Al-Karam in Retford, Nottinghamshire.

Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, is the oldest centre of Islamic learning in the Muslim world with a tradition of balanced scholarship going back for over a thousand years. It is the leading voice of moderation and balance and aims to portray the accurate picture of Islam and the message of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the world. In pursuit of promoting this moderate stance and furthering a dialogue between the balanced scholarship of the ancient seat of Islamic learning at Al-Azhar and the modern Western world, Jamia Al-Karam has been honoured to be the Al-Azhar contact office and the UK branch of WAAG....

Jamia Al-Karam officially opens the UK Branch of the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates

Tribute paid to Shaykh Pirzada's completion of Tafsir in South Africa

Muslim Charity South Africa paid a special tribute to Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada following his completion of a Tasfir (commentary) the Holy Qur'an entitled, Tafsir Imdad al-Karam. It was on Wednesday 16th which marked the eve of a respected occasion in South Africa, the Wisaalof Hadrath Abdul Qadir Gilani that Muslim Charity South Africa chose to commemorate the completion of the final volume of Tafsir Imdad al-Karamby Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada.

As a tribute to Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada on the completion of his Tafsir, Muslim Charity South Africa celebrated the fruition of his10 years of commitment to this effort and gave Hadyah (gifts) of 250 (two hundred and fifty) hijaab scarves and 250 gift packs...

Shaykh Pirzada returns to the UK following a visit to the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah

I write whilst on board British Airways’ flight BA0132 travelling from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to London Heathrow, United Kingdom. The journey of the last 7 days spent in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah - all in the fortunate company of Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada - has been a truly inspiring and thoroughly enjoyable time for all those travelling with the Shaykh. It has been a blessing to be a part of such a journey with such a remarkable individual.

Shaykh Pirzada arrives in the Holy City of Makkah to perform 'Umrah and complete his Tafsir

The journey of Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada began on Saturday 5th March 2011 at Jamia Al-Karam after Zuhr Salah following which staff members and students individually met with Shaykh Pirzada to bid farewell to him. Shaykh Pirzada assured all the staff members and students that Jamia Al-Karam and each and every one of them will be firmly remembered in his prayers and supplications as he visits the Holy Sites and performs ‘Umrah.

Shaykh Pirzada then left Jamia Al-Karam en route to London Heathrow Airport and boarded British Airways’ flight BA133 from London to Jeddah which landed safely half an hour earlier than the scheduled time in Saudi Arabia at 7.00am on Sunday 6th March 2011.

Shaykh Pirzada and those accompanying him were welcomed at King Abdul International Airport in Jeddah by Respected Muhammad Anwar Siddiqi. Shaykh Pirzada was then taken to the residence of Respected Muhammad Anwar Siddiqi where he was served breakfast and rested for a short while...

Shaykh Pirzada completes writing his Tafsir of the Quran

By the blessings of Allah, on Wednesday 12 January 2011, Shaykh Pirzada completed the writing of his relevant and contemporary commentary and exegesis of the holy Qur’an, Tafsir Imdad al-Karam. This remarkable journey hand-in-hand with the divine words and the magnificent Revelation of Allah to humanity revealed upon the holy Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and grant him peace) was accomplished over a time period of ten years and three months. Ma sha’ Allah.

To honour this moment and this commentator of the Qur’an, Jamia Al-Karam organised a programme on Thursday evening, 13 January 2011. The event was attended by all staff of Jamia Al-Karam, the students, former graduates and other well-wishers. The programme began following the Isha Prayer and consisted of recitals form the glorious Qur’an, odes in praise of the blessed Messenger (Allah bless him and grant him peace) as well as speeches regarding Tafsir Imdad al-Karam, its author and messages of support and gratitude...

Al-Karam Secondary School once again tops the Notts GCSE League

On Wednesday 12 January 2011, the government released the national GCSE league tables for the year 2010 on the internet, which were subsequently published in the newspapers on Thursday 13 January 2011. The league tables are designed to measure the academic performance of secondary schools across the country at the Key Stage 4 GCSE level.

 

Once again by the grace of Allah, the Al-Karam Secondary School of Jamia Al-Karam has come in top position ranking first in the entire county of Nottinghamshire with its 84% in 5+ subjects at A*-C grade including English and Mathematics...

Exclusive: Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada's brief visit to Pakistan - October 2010

Shaykh Muhammad Pirzada – who is currently spending much of his time in writing his commentary of the Qur’an – took some time out from his busy schedule and travelled to Pakistan late afternoon on Thursday 30 September 2010 flying out from Heathrow Airport in London to attend the Funeral Prayer of the mother of Pir Muhammad Mazhar Hussain al-Qadiri and to observe the implementation and workings of Muslim Charity projects in Pakistan.

Shaykh Pirzada arrived in Lahore early morning on Friday 1 October 2010 and was received by family members, students and devoted followers. From Lahore, Shaykh Pirzada travelled to Jhang and arrived before the Friday Prayer. The atmosphere in the spiritual centre of Mangani Sharif (shrine of Shaykh Pirzada’s brother, Pir Muhammad Karam Hussain al-Qadiri) was already experiencing a sense of grief and anxiety due to the passing away of a noble lady – mother to so many...

Urs Conference of Justice Shaykh Karam Shah al-Azhari (RA) held at Jamia Al-Karam (UK)

On Sunday 4 July 2010, the twelfth annual Urs Conference in memory of Justice Shaykh Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari (1918-1998) took place on the picturesque grounds of Jamia Al-Karam. The conference was attended by over two hundred scholars and masha’ikh from the United Kingdom as well as overseas. These included various notable personalities such as Professor Dr Sahibzada Sajid-ur-Rehman (International Islamic University Islamabad and khatib of the Faisal Mosque, Islamabad) and Shaykh Sayyid Kabir Ali Shah (Astana Aliyah Chura Sharif, Pakistan).
