Al-Karam Productions releases new DVD

Al-Karam Productions has released a Limited Edition 2 Disc DVD Set of a lecture delivered by Shaykh M I H Pirzada. The lecture is entitled, “Could Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Read?” and it was delivered at the Leeds Makkah Masjid on Sunday 17th December 2006.
In it, Shaykh Pirzada elaborates on the issue of the noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not reciting at the advent of the first divine revelation and analyses extensively the phrase ma ana bi qari’in uttered by the noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Muslim Faith School tops the Notts League Table

Since its inception in 1995, Al-Karam Secondary School founded by Shaykh M I H Pirzada, has maintained very high academic standards. Its first GCSE result in 1998 was a resounding 87%, grades A* to C in five or more subjects, which topped the league table for Nottinghamshire. In 2005, a similar feat was achieved when the school for the first time gained 100%, grades A* to C in five or more subjects, thus again taking first position in the Nottinghamshire GCSE league table.

This momentum has continued for the 2006 GCSE results in which the school achieved 95%, grades A* to C in five or more subjects. Despite the drastic change by the government in the way that the tables are published based upon higher passes in Maths and English...

Leeds 2006 event hailed immensely beneficial

The recent four hour lecture by respected Shaykh Pirzada held on Sunday 17th December 2006 at Leeds Makkah Masjid has been hailed immensely beneficial by those who attended. The Gateway to Divine Mercy event was jointly organised by Jamia Al-Karam, AKSA and Leeds Makkah Masjid. The event featured a powerful lecture by Shaykh Pirzada on one very crucial issue that has been continuously discussed over the past years.

Leading Scholars from India and Bangladesh visit Jamia Al-Karam

Jamia Al-Karam in Retford, Nottinghamshire, had the unique opportunity of hosting two leading scholars from the Indian Subcontinent on Wednesday 20 September 2006. Dr Sayyid Irshad Ahmad al-Bukhari from Bangladesh as well as Mufti Shams al-Huda al-Misbahi from Jamia Ashrafiyya of Mubarakpur in India.

The guests were accompanied by the Imam of Manchester Central Mosque Victoria Park and Chair of the Al-Karam Scholar’s Association (AKSA), Imam Muhammad Arshad al-Misbahi. The Founder and Principal of Jamia Al-Karam, Shaykh M I H Pirzada, received the honourable guests and provided a detailed tour of the institution.

Jamia Al-Karam begins its new Academic Year

On Sunday 3 September 2006, Jamia Al-Karam reopened for the new academic year of 2006-2007. The continuous success of the Al-Karam Secondary School, as well as the Al-Karam Centre for Higher Education, has prompted a huge interest for admission purposes at the institution. New admissions have increased this year and certain year groups now have began their waiting lists.

The previous year’s result of the secondary school, namely the 95% pass rate at grades A*-C in a minimum of 5 subjects, show a continuous effort by members of pastoral and academic staff in aiming for the best and truly becoming a centre of spiritual and educational excellence...

Jamia Al-Karam gains astounding 95% in GCSE results

Jamia Al-Karam’s Al-Karam Secondary School has taken first positions in the entire county of Nottinghamshire twice in the past. The first time was in 1998 when it gained a GCSE pass rate of 85% and the second time was in last year’s GCSE results of 2005 when it gained an excellent 100% pass rate.

This year again, the Al-Karam Secondary School has achieved outstanding GCSE results. As the GCSE results for all schools nationwide were released on Thursday 24 August 2006, all who were associated with Jamia Al-Karam became overwhelmingly pleased and offered gratitude to Allah (most high) for the astounding 95% pass rate...
