From al-Aqsa to al-Karam: UK Tour of Shaykh Abu Sneina

It is 5:00pm on Wednesday 21 June 2006, there is a gentle wind drifting peacefully over the grounds of Jamia al-Karam. The atmosphere is tranquil and soothing as the trees of al-Karam move lightly from right to left in anticipation. At approximately 10 am on Saturday 18th February 2006, Shaykh Pirzada landed at Lahore International Airport. He came back to Pakistan after eight long years. At the airport, Shaykh Pirzada was received by many devotees, followers and friends, including his nephew and the Shaykh of Astana ‘Aliya Mangani, Pir Muhammad Mazhar Hussain al-Qadiri.

From Lahore, Shaykh Pirzada travelled to his educational home, Bhera, via the main motorway. These two days (18th and 19th February 2006) were the days of the Urs Mubarak of Diya’ al-Ummat, Justice Shaykh Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari commemorating his life, works and achievements...

Shaykh Habib Ali al-Jifri and Abdal-Hakim Murad visit Jamia Al-Karam

Shaykh Habib Ali al-Jifri first met Shaykh M I H Pirzada at the “Mawlid; United for the Prophet 2005” event held in London on 2nd May 2005. On his next visit to the UK, Shaykh Habib Ali happily accepted an invitation to come and visit Jamia Al-Karam and meet Shaykh Pirzada.

Accordingly, on 17 December 2005 Shaykh Habib Ali visited Shaykh Pirzada at Jamia Al-Karam. Accompanying Shaykh Habib Ali were Abdal-Hakim Murad, Shaykh Muhammad Bashuaib, Fuad Nahdi, Moez Masoud and a number of other guests. Shaykh Habib Ali hails from Tarim, South Yemen. US Ambassador visits Jamia Al-Karam

Retford’s Jamia Al-Karam School hosted US Deputy Ambassador David T Johnson on an official visit last week. Accompanied by Retford’s MP Patrick Mercer, Mr Johnson arrived at Jamia Al-Karam and was received by Founder and Principal of the school Shaykh Pirzada and the head, Shabbir Ahmed.

Mr Johnson visited pupils in lessons and answered their questions as well as discussing the school and the situation of national and international affairs. The guests then attended an assembly in the school’s Mosque...
Shadow Home Secretary visits Shaykh Pirzada

Soon after the tragic 7/7 suicide attacks in London, the Shadow Home Secretary David Davis MP visited Shaykh Pirzada at Jamia Al-Karam to discuss a number of issues including terrorism. David Davis MP was accompanied by Patrick Mercer MP of Neward and Retford.

Tafseer Imdad-ul-Karam universally acclaimed in Official Launch

The official launch of Tafseer Imdad ul-Karam took place on 11 October 2004, in London, in the presence of Shaykh Amin al-Hasanat Shah and other prominent guests.

On the death anniversary of Justice Shaykh Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari, the Pakistan Post Office has issued a Commemorative Postage Stamp of Rs. 2/- denomination on April 7, 2004.
